About The Author :
Jesse Schule was born on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. In his early twenties, he relocated to Thailand, and started working as an English teacher on the island of Phuket. Jesse is a father, and a husband, and he lives a relatively quiet lifestyle away from the bars and the the nightlife that are so common in major tourist hubs. After spending more than a decade in Thailand, Jesse has noticed that the way Thailand is portrayed in the western media tends to be biased, inaccurate, sensationalized, and very different than his own experience as someone who lives there. Since he began writing in 2010, Jesse has established a reputation as someone who tackles the most controversial topics, and isn't afraid to "tell it like it is". Jesse is a contributor to several major media outlets in Thailand, and supplies content to a variety of websites, in 2011 he was invited to appear on the BBC program "World Have Your Say", to discuss the topic of prostitution and sex tourism in Thailand.
